Cool off at a pool or swim beach

As of Memorial Day everyone’s favorite northern Colorado swim spots are open for business! This year, rediscover old favorites and explore new places to take a dip. Read on for updated hours and pricing for the 2017 season, and remember that all outdoor swim areas are subject to weather closures.

Berthoud

Berthoud Pool, 200 7th St

This outdoor pool features a diving board, snack stand, and lifeguards on duty at all times. Open swim is offered M-F from 1:30-5:30pm and Sa-Su from noon-5pm. Family swim, which requires each child to have an adult present, runs M-F from 5:30-7pm. Admission is $2.50 for ages 3-18 and over 54, $3 for adults, and free for ages 2 and under. Fort Collins

City Park Pool, 1599 City Park Dr

An outdoor pool featuring two large slides, a lazy river, splash fountains, a play fort, zero depth entry and picnic areas. Pool is open M-F from 11am-7pm and Sa-Su from 10am-5:30pm. Cost is free for children under 2, $6 for ages 2-17 and over 60, and $7 for adults. Discounted punch cards are also available. Horsetooth Reservoir, CR 38E

Swimming is permitted at the Inlet Bay and South Bay swim beaches when water levels allow. Beaches are open daily from dawn to dusk. Daily park permits are required and cost $7 per vehicle with discounted annual passes available. Greeley

Lake swimming is permitted at the designated swim area, which features a sand beach. No lifeguard on duty; swim at your own risk. The swim beach is open during daylight hours. Admission requires a daily park permit for $8 per vehicle with discounted annual passes available. An outdoor pool with a slide, children’s area and lap lanes. Hours are M and W from noon-7pm, and all other days from noon-5pm. Family swim hours are Su, 10am-noon.
